I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Studies in
the area of Applied Measurement and Research Methods at Purdue
University. I also am Co-Director of the Purdue University Psychometric
Instruction / Investigation Laboratory (PUPIL). I spend most of my time
thinking about applied educational and psychological measurement issues
(test score validity, test bias, etc.). My wife Sarah and I have two
children, Elise (born 2004) and Evan (born 2006). In my free time I
enjoy long distance running and cycling.
