Born 6-7-1963 in Seattle WA. Family moved to Marietta GA in 1966 and I attended St. Josephs from 1969 until 1974. Our family moved back to Federal Way and I attended St. Phils for 6th,7th and 8th grade until 1977. I attended Kennedy from 1977-81. Went to U of Montana for a year and then moved backhome, school just wasnt for me at the time.
I started my first business. Forever Green Inc., the largest residental lawn maintenance
and landscaping company in Wa. We maintained 350 properties every week. Sold that business in 1991 and moved out to Orting. Took some time off but started growing garlic & potatoes selling them to garden centers. Before we knew it we out grew our place in Orting and in 1996 moved to Ellensburg. Irish Eyes really took off. In 2000 I purchased Garden City Seeds. Changed the name to Irish-Eyes~Garden City Seeds. We farm organiclly 20 acres of garlic , potatoes and organic seed. We are the largest specialty garlic grower in the US and supply just about all of the mailorder catalogs out there like Burpees , Park seed and many more. We also sell mailorder and to garden centers and have regional seed racks in 6 states in the west. I wrote the garlic seed certification program for the USDA and was hired by Lloyds of London as a garlic expert to survey 2000 metric tons of garlic in Columbia.
Still didn't have enough to keep me busy so in 2002 I went back to school and got a degree as a RN. I work part time as an admissions nurse for the local rehab center.
Married Sue in 1985 and we've been together for 22 years. We have two girls, Sara 17 a senior, and Alexa 14, a freshman.
As you can tell from the photo, I'm an avid flyfisherman. Also a Bow hunter.
