I've been married 26 years, have two sons. The first, Joshua David, is a
graduate of WWU. Joshua is married and the manager of the Fastenal
distributor in Woodinville. Joshua's wife is Michelle. She works at Boeing
in General Procurement, and is a law student at Seattle University. Our
second son, Adam Joseph, is an Engineering student at WSU. My wife Janice
is a banker. She had a long career with Sea-First/Bank of America but, left
Bank of America about a year ago after 19 years. She is now the Assistant
Manager at the Federal Way HomeStreet Bank. I've worked for Boeing
forever - 27 years. I'm an application analyst working with Computer Aided
Design applications in the Boeing Technology - Phantom Works organization at
the Developmental Center across from the Museum of Flight. I'm basically an
internal consultant.
After St. Philomena I spent one year at Kennedy, then 3 years at Mt.
Rainier. Where I met but, did not date my wife. After high school came
community college, Boeing and marriage. Raising two sons brought with it
changes and transitions. Gone is the motorcycle and drum set. But we've
enjoyed sailing and sail boat racing, back packing and hiking, mountain
biking, fishing and boating. We've been through baseball, soccer, cross
country, track and wrestling. I coached Adam's soccer team for 5 years, the
Federal Way United - Totem, Jets. The next phase is empty nesters. Well,
at least part time empty nesters.
We bought our first house in 1981 and our second and current house in 1998.
We down sized from 2,200 to 1,800 sq. ft. with a much smaller yard. We
didn't need the backyard soccer/baseball field. We're living in Federal Way,
about 6 miles from where I grew up in Des Moines. Back under the planes
but, close to the water. No view but, we can walk to the Redondo boardwalk.
