Patrick Sammon, Class of 1989, lives in Washington, DC. He is Communications Director for The Liberty Education Forum, a non-profit foundation based in the nation's capital. After St. Philomena, Patrick graduated from Kennedy High School. In 1997, he graduated from Syracuse University with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing. Then Patrick spent nearly three years working as a television news reporter at a CBS affiliate in Northern New York. In 1999, he moved south, gladly leaving the snow behind, for another television news reporting job at the CBS affiliate in Johnson City, Tennessee. In 2002, Patrick received an award from the Tennessee Associated Press for Best News Writing in the state.
