I did my undergraduate studies at Claremont McKenna College in California. I then attended Yale Law School. After graduation I clerked with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals with Judge O'Scannlon. Following a year with the Ninth Circuit, I accepted a position with the Department of Justice as a Constitutional Torts Attorney and then spent three years with the Department Of Justice. In August of 2001 I entered the Dominican Novitiate. I was ordained a deacon on Jan 7, 2006 in Crypt Church of the National Shrine of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. On January 8th I preached my first homily at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Washington D.C.
